His house is in the same neighborhood and so he and the protagonist grew up together.Despite his age he is a helpful person, he's always secretly supporting the protagonist.His grades are excellent and he's a former captain of the archery club, and so he's popular at school. However in comparison to his age he's too calm, or rather "matured".
